8 yrs warranty on cat. converter

Just wanted to tell everybody that there is an 8yr warranty for the Cat. converter for 6th gen. civics. My engine light went on and I brought my car in with stock header and exhaust muffler and Honda put in a new cat. on the car. Make sure you put on your stock exhaust and header so you don't have any hassle. New cats. cost around $800+.

Too soon, went to put on my after market exhaust and noticed the was completely hollow except for a black rock like substance. The "waffle" layer that was suppose to be in the cat. was all burn up some how. I don't run NOS so I guess I had a bad part.
