6 startup chimes
 

car chimes 6 times. all lits come on, then shut off (normal) batt and oil stays on, but go off at statup.

6 chimes (not normal)

mine dings some then the batt and oil stays on...
its normal. it says in the haynes manual that they are on when the ignition is on but you have not started your engine...

haha... no, that's your seatbelt warning. put your seatbelt on, then put the key in

or he could just discount the sensor wires that stops the chiming too (I know cause I broke that connector when removing my seat)

mine does it when my seatr belt is on... weird...
