Anyone have pics of their cars with 45 or 40 series?

I was going to be buying some 205 40 16 rubber, however someone was suggesting to get 45 series...

Suggestions?

i have 40, no problems..
i mean if you are carefull then you have no wories...
ride quality is good...
but o'm on 17's
on 16's wh ywouln't you go with 45

for your car the 45's are closer to stock diameter, plus add that little more cushion... that's what I'd use

exactly, 16's are 45 series sidewall unless you've got it lowered so much your slammed and need 40 series sidewalls to not rub much. either way, you'll be fine but 40 series will throw off the speedo a tiny amount...like maybe 5-7km/h, nothing big.

i have 40 series 17's and i wish i went with 45 series....a few hours on the highways and you'll see why.

I have 40's on my 17's... just watch the road when you drive and you shouldnt have to many problems with potholes

Just be careful thats it, other than its all good! I've had mine for about a year now and no curb damage or anything like that....I'm really careful when it comes to my car.

yeah i have 16s on 205/40/16 the ride is ok but i would rather have a larger tire such as 45 because you can feel every bump on the road

I have 195/45/15 and there fine, i just dont' like the road noise they make. Other then that there always nice with a drop

205/45/16 is not always the correct size to go with to match stock diameter, on 92-95 lx and dx, 205/40/16 is the closest to stock diameter.

My 17" wheels/tires overal diamter are actually a tad bit smaller than the overall diameter of the OEM wheels/tires. Thanks for the link!
