225whp

i would like to know how chris si knows about the build.

if someone has a problem instead of post on a fourm and ripping my name apart, id liek to see you approach me to my face.

Yes i did make that power on stock injectors, pump, fuel rail. But i didnt make 225 constantly.

Yes i will print out a dyno sheet and post it up.

so get your facts straight.

i dunno how other people got involved when i only talked to zeeman over msn.

* nova dust dont lock thread i wanna hear some responses if you dont mind.

all i did was tell chris what you told me, i didn't tell him to make any threads about it.

I told you that IMO 225whp on stock injectors/fuel pump is hard to believe. It may be possible, with super high fuel pressure, but i wouldn't be pushing stock injectors that hard...thats asking for a brand new engine to blow up.

Its a well known fact that stock injectors are only really good up to about 200whp.

I don't have a problem saying this to your face....hell i was practically telling you that i didn't believe that your stock block b20vtec made 214whp when i sold you that FPR and again when i sold you that valve cover.

A dyno sheet would put an end to any allegations made.

chris is just trying to flame me because i threatened him in the past.

just like when i posted about the bottom that went on me he added his two sense "knock knock knock"

and now this, hes obiviously jelous or just has somthing against me.

Now that 214 whp was the highest pull, but later on down the road as i kept going back for tuning that number started decreasing and decrasing. the last pull was 179whp!! before the motor went. Also that 214 whp was made by a 3rd pull because i had a ls tranny @ the time. I may have made high whp because of the 3rd gear pull i dunno.

well thats a problem you'll have to take up with chris. I'm sure he's just pissed b.c he was born with micro-***** (or so his mom tells me).

Funny thing is, chris had an engine that spun a bearing too, on the dyno while t e k n o t i k was tuning it.

Now, 179whp....thats more realistic.
Dude, i'm not trying to be an asshat or anything, but search on honda-tech about the limits of stock injectors.

well if thats the case than i better pick up a set of injector soon because mine go. But i was to aware that even 200whp is pussing the stock fuel systems.

How long do injectors usally last @ that whp?

I've been told that injectors are considered maxed at 80% duty cycle..

when nick looked at my fuel map my injectors were maxed out 80% + after 8k and I'm at 180whp

not long, get some 440cc to be safe (i know you'll want more power), they're the same price as 310/330/370s.
I'd get them asap, along with a bigger pump.
You'll be able to get the most out of your setup with injectors big enough to supply its hungry demand for fuel.
So more fuel = more power and added safety.
If you're still getting crappy gas mileage i'd be concerned about the partial throttle/cruising portions of the map being tuned properly.

Yes, this is true, injectors are considered maxed out at 80% duty cycle.
But its also well known that cromes duty cycle reading isn't very accurate.

How to select your fuel injector

It is a formular for calculating what c.c. you need in order to create a certain hp range. Have a look, plug in some numbers and you will know your rough to semi accurate hp.

Keep this thread clean. I won't touch it if it is discussion related.

you're using a ITR crank?
So you de-stroked a b20? B/c the b20 has a 89mm stroke while the ITR has a 87.2mm stroke. If you used the crank, you would have had to have used ITR/GSR rods too.

In the link Nova provided it basically is saying that 440s would be you're best choice IMO.
If you do the calculating it also confirms that 200hp is about the max (at 80% duty cycle) of 240cc injectors.

this is a stupid thread. 225 whp...who cares? whats the torque number and curve look like? thats a close setup to my old one so i believe its true and i used a type-r crank as well. 440cc injectors are a must if you want any longevity out of the engine. show the graph so everyone will shut up already.
