2001 SI auto to manual

hey guys I'm getting a 2001 Si coupe as a winter beater from my sister. I can't stand auto so I was wondering a couple things:
What I'd need to do to convert it to manual?
What tranny will fit?
What sensors do I need?
Who can do it quick, cheap and RIGHT?
What do you guys think will be the overall cost?
Would it be cheaper just to do a full engine/tranny swap?
THanks guys/girls, really appreciate it :notworthy

trade it in , it will be way cheaper, especially for a winter beater ..why bother tho... its only for winter, its easier to drive auto in the winter

well it's basically a free car, and it's more fun to drive stick. I find I get lazy and bored driving a car with an auto.

tried the search but just kept getting post regarding slippin clutchs, ppl's gears grinding and people selling cars/their trannys. nothing on how it was done, where it was done, or the ball park figure of the cost
