2000 Hatch Trunk Wont Open/Lock
 

hey guys,
I have a 2000 honda civic cx,
I've had trunk problem for an year now, for some time the trunk was not shutting completely, rather it gets stuck closed half way.

I then had issues of opening the trunk once it gets stuck shut halfway open/closed. When i try to unlock the trunk with the key, the lock cylinder doesnt respond to the key in the open position.

I tried playing around with the lock mechanism and now the lock wont latch at all.
Im not sure if anything I say make any sense to you guys, Im hoping someone with a EK hatch would know a little bit about the trunk issue.

I need this fixed asap as my back seat is full of clutter since I cant use my trunk. thanx
