2" drop springs????

do you guys know if there are any lowering springs that will give me a 2" drop?

right now i have h&r sports (1.8f 1.6r) and i'm not satisfied with the rear drop especially.

h&r race springs would bring the car too low at 2.5"

have you ever heard of B&G springs or Intrax springs?

any advice on how to get a 2" drop?

i want to avoid coilovers.

I believe progress springs give you a 2" drop all around.

i've seen progress springs on EGs before on H-T, and they give you the same drop as h&r sports.

unless i go with progress 2.3" drop.

Progress on EK will give 2.0 all round. On an EG they give 2.3 all round. If you need a set of progress springs, PM me, I got lots in stock

nuespeed race springs will give you 2.25" up front and 2 in the rear as per neuspeed...

but my rear dropped a bit more then that... but they are damn stiff... almost uncomfortably stiff... but its all for the cornering abilities now

you know you want race springs james

One thing to consider is that you're using AGX's, and KYB doesn't recommend lowering more than 1.5" with those shocks. I would recommend getting rid of your AGX's and buying Koni Yellows. You can achieve another 0.5-0.75" drop with the Yellows on the lowest perch setting.

B&G Suspension would definitly be worth considering as well. I only have rode in a car with there full coilovers but the ride was amazing. The car was a 95 Prelude.
B&G has two springs for 5th gens. One give a 1.75" all round and the other 2.5" all round.

SW20 MR2 is right on the money! If you want a 2.0 drop either invest in some Yellows or why not consider going full coilover suspension?

ok time for the autocrosser to chime in...

PULOVR showed me a set of coilovers at automotive warehouse and I must sayI'm personally interested in them .. 2 spring rates 350 and 450 and both springs are the same size.... (I think it's tom's motorsport coilover kit... but don't quote me)

anyways I'd recommend 350 on the front and 450 on the rear then lower to the desired hieght (not all the way down or all the way up half way is good) then go get car corner wieghed and balanced (there is a shop in scarborough that does it just search for corner wieght in the forums) and once that is done with you in the car presto you will have a sweet very neutral handling car where you can induce under or over steer as you wish ... now thats a sweeter ride....

Intrax actually makes decent springs, Progress is SWEET!! RS*R I have not seen but it's a good name James, unfortunately, springs are one of those things that you have to try on, like shoes, except it's a little more expensive. Don't forget that springs will settle to over time. You saw the Saturn, and that's just a Pro-Kit... except it's 3 years old... same with Duy's car.

James, whatever you decide, you have to keep 2 things in mind: 1. your KYB AGX shocks will have to go (as SW20 MR2 stated, the shocks are not warranted beyond a 1.5" drop), and 2. going lower means sacrificing ride quality (you could end up riding on your bumpstops a lot, and the ride is much more bouncy). If you can live with those trade-offs then go for it.

That's just my P.O.V.

It's a fact that wheel travel is key to higher levels of comfort and performance... but looks are compromised somewhat. I'm happy with how my car sits right now.
