2 blown rear Illumina struts in 1 month

yup thats right,

1st was the left rear strut, some people tried to say it was installer.... WRONG. the strut was not working properly, the brass fitting which holds up the adjustment **** had fallen underneath making it impossible, and the strut itself moved freely up and down.

those were Garbage and replaced!

2nd strut. right rear.
Oil leak, and is now bottoming out.... probably want to blame the installer...... Wrong! strut was working fine but started to leak Oil.
not good at all

got a new one..... need it replaced!

im still happy with them dont get me wrong.
very nice struts, adjustments are pretty precise in the way the car feels, rides like on rails.

im still happy with them

the Cause i believe for my struts:

i believe they cant handle an excessive drop like my Goldlines.
or maybe i just have badluck, but whatever that is, i gotta replace another strut.... thank you Tokico warranty

Mark

i've been on neuspeed race springs for over 2 months on mine now and no problems... and i'd bet my springs are both lower and have a higher spring rate then those goldlines... i think its just a bad batch kinda thing....

yes but punk if the drop is low enough without the required spring rate he will bottom out the shocks which could be causing the problems,....

what shock settings are you using?
