1999 SI Civic how to replace bushings

1999 SI with about 280km, want to get a bushing kit.
Will the bushing all come out in a press or are there some that have to be torched out?
Hoping to be able to do this at home.
Anyone done this them self before?

the torch could help, I suggest a sawz-all though, press out/torch out what you can from the control arms and then cut the outer metal ring of the old bushing cutting toward the actual arm part so that if you do cut into the arm, your cutting into a thick part and not the thinner part around the rest of the bushing. be sure to lube the bushing inside and out before pressing in the new ones and make sure they go nice and straight. Last, put all control arms back in, with the hardware still loose and lower the car to the normal ride height, then with the car down, torque the bolts down or you'll cause premature failure of the new bushings.

^Preloading the bushings is so important. So many people complain about 'crappy' bushings in the LCAs of aftermarket companies but they are the same people who never preload them.

And go for an alignment immediately afterwords and expect the guy to be 1 hour plus! It took the 1hr 15minutes to do my teg a few years back. A great improvement though.
