it doesn't matter.
If you're worried about passing emissions, then i wouldn't boost your car.

but it will make your car run ALOT better. It'll be faster, better on fuel economy and much safer for your engine.

A boosted d16 is very hard to make pass emissions. I know one guy who did it but he did a 2 speed idle test (which doubles the limits) and he passed.
So there is no hope in passing emissions is what your all saying?? Don't we all need to pass emissions at some time, how are you guys getting around it?

i've seen turbo honda's pass emissions. Most don't b/c they don't wanna spend the money for good tuning.
I couldn't guarantee a car that i tuned would pass emissions. Unless we were on the dyno tuning it for emissions with the probe in the car (as much as you could, tuning only plays so big of a role on emissions).
Most high WHP setups don't have things like a cat, or working evap purge system or pcv system, all things that will hinder its ability to pass emissions

Passing an emission test in a t'd Civic is not a problem at all.
Whoever did your turbo setup and tuning, should be able to help you out, so your car can pass emissions.
Don't loose hope because there is a way to pass emissions with your t'd civic... and no, you don't have to bribe the emission tech guy just to pass you.

I found a local guy who has a emissions test machine that isn't hooked up to the ministry, He says he'll run the car and adjust what he has too until it passes, and then send me off to get it done at another place. I might have to go check him out.

Yes there is hope.

But there is a good chance you will not pass if its under the regular limits. But there are somethings you can do to help out passing (methal hydrate, retard the timing a bit, lean out the AF's a bit, cause most tuners like to run a tad bit richer cause it's safe)
