i had a 1st gen b16a no longer have it im wondering what tranny would accomplish this this was only how fast my b16/crx would go top gear 8600 rpm was 195 K no more no less

they were 175 70r14's

you should try to top out 4th gen doing something like that.... then keep 5th as a highway gear... that being really low....

man my vtec kicked in at 4500 rpm and 120 was 4400 in 5th gear this thing was a gas pig

you proboly had the j1 super close ratio tranny..close to the type r tranny in gearing

That links works excellent!!! I have an JDM Y1 tranny and it does within 100rpm of what the page says it should (4393) in 5th at 120kph. I agree with white92d15b7 my car is a gas pig with the VTEC, or more correctly with the Y1 tranny!

haha gas pig...say that to a guy wiht a klze or a 5.0 mustang...or a dsm running a big turbo and lot's of boost....lol

it says i have a s1/j1 that would be what i can do it says 200.58 kmph so thats close enough to 195 maybe there is a shorter tranny !!!! and when my vtec engaged at normal highway cruising speeds ya it was a gas pig ha ha
