1.8 ZC into crx?

Will a 1990 1.8 ZC motor out of an Integra fall into my 1988 CRX with any troubles? IE - motor mounts?

SilverCRXSi 28-Jul-2004 05:51 PM

it'll fit yes.
But I think you'll need new axles from the 'teg.
Mounts are the same I think...

this is a 91 DOHC non vtec what is it considered then?? b18?? i guess?

imported_dented dx 28-Jul-2004 10:31 PM

yeah a b18a or b18b. if you can get the b18b its newer and more power, you'll need new b-series mounts and shift linkage and b-series axles

imported_starboy869 29-Jul-2004 12:53 AM

What is the engine code stamped on the block?

tictac 29-Jul-2004 01:03 PM

id get b18 over zc

white92d15b7 29-Jul-2004 10:08 PM

if you make it fall the right way im sure it will go right into the engine bay

I would not bother with ZC unless I was turbo'ing it....

tictac 30-Jul-2004 09:31 PM

even then id rather have a sohc over a zc....
