01 Civic Coupe SI-G looking for more hp

Looking for a supercharger, maybe turbo. What are my options?
Who makes what for this car? Thanks.

Hey...

your options are turbo or kswap. theres like 3-4 turbo kits out there now. you can swap a K20 or K24 motor in your car.

If you're looking for a K swap think about your plans for it.

You want cheap speed? Get a K20A3 or a K24A4 for dirt cheap and slap on some boost (up to 10 psi is fine on these stock blocks).

You want to go all motor? Save up and get yourself a K20A from a DC5 ITR, as it also comes with an LSD in that 6 speed.

Want a great all around motor that you build up for either tons of boost, or perhaps go all motor but don't want to spend the $$$ required for the ITR motor? Get a K20A2.

As for the K24A2 ... another great motor, but I'm hearing it's not the best candidate for anything more than basic boost, due to its combination of high revs and long stroke. Plus, this motor is also very expensive, as it's still pretty rare (find any trashed TSXs lately?)

a person on 7thgencivic.com swapped a k24 with k20A2 head into his 7thgen and dynoed it getting 218hp, i forget the torque.

ya, that doesn't really make sense, rather they are a pain to swap into most cars so there is a low demand (unlike a b16 or something that swaps into everything pretty much)...

anyways, ya there are a few turbo kits available or you can go and try and peice together your own.....just search around...
