01 civic coil overs

i bought a set of coil overs for me 01 civ (4 door) . . the guy at the shop said they were allt he same (coupe/sedan) so i wud be ok.. he didnt seem to positive tho.. and now i jus read they are different !?! does ne one know for sure..

Are the full coilovers or just the sleeve type? The 01-05 Civic Copue and Sedans have slightly different suspensions in some cases. The Coupe and Sedan aftermarket springs are different according to some manufacturers (H&R for example sells 2 different springs).

Also, the struts OEM and aftermarket from 01-02 are different then those from 03-05.

Your best bet might be to check the parts numbers on what you bought with their website or application list.
