00 civic engine swap question
 

i am going to do a engine swap on my 00 civic dx...i am swapping a sir motor in. This is the question i have...i have a full catback exhaust system and the dc headers for the motor...now do i need a sir cat? when i bought the motor there were only headers no cat?

If your car is a stock DX, then yes you will need a cat for an SIR - since the cat on the DX is right in the exhaust manifold.

yeah, you cannot convert the header from your old motor to the b16 because it will not fit

just wundering i was thinking the same swap, how much?

wait so will this high flow car fit the setup even though the dc headers have a stock collector size ?
