*HELP* Charging battery question!

hi, my car alternator belt has fallin off and now my battery is dead. I want to know how i can charge my car battery to a good amount so that i can drive this car home before the battery dies.
can i just connect my car battery to another car battery and let it charge ? am i am to do this without a alterator?

I also have a "portable rechargable power station" can i just connect that to my CAR battery and just let it sit there to charge?
Can the car be off and it will charge the batterY?

please help. need to get home.

If you can get you car to start you will be able to drive your car, it just will not charge the battery. I would get it charged the right way, not off another car battery.

re-read spike...alternator is in essence gone for a cack
ergo, nothing to run the car...the battery would be dead in 5 minutes, even after a full charge
