98 Civic Si For Sale

I'm looking for someone who would like to take over a financing payment, basically get a car for initally cheap and just do the monthly payment thing, for this you probably need a co-signer and you have to be approved.

Info On the Car:
-98 Honda Civic Si With a 2000 front end conversion, The car was NOT in a accident, I was replacing all the parts anyways and just decided to go newer style
-112,000KM, I bought it at about 85,000KM
-Has not had ONE problem yet, it's been the most reliable car ever
-Never Raced, My dad is a paramedic, I seen what happes when people race, so I just dont do it.
-5-Speed, Sun Roof, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Evertything, Cruise Control

Basiclly it goes down like this, I bought the car apporx 1 year ago totally stock at a price of $15,500, paying it off over I think 4 years at 245/month. I have approx 5k payed out on it already and to top that off I have about 6k in mods, Thats about 11k I have into the car right now. I'm looking for about $6500 + Take over payments because I know I wont get back much of what I have in mods, I just want back most of what I payed for it so far + a bit extra.

here is a list of what I have done to it, I'm shure I'm forgetting a few things.

-Complete 99-00 front end style swap with brand new stock 99-00 fenders.
-Full Buddy club kit
-CF Hood
-G3 Projection Lights
-Custom Interior
-Custom front and back wrapped seats - (This alone cost $1700)
-Intake
-Ractive Exhaust
-Ractive short shifter
-Coilovers
-Aftermarket mirrors
-Stock Radio

Damn nice car man. All these nice civic's coming on sale when I'm not in the market for one until the summer :(
Anyway you'd sell by just having someone take over payments?

yah, it seems to me that would be the easier way for people to have a payment plan, but if someone would want to pay in full I have no problem with that, Before I sell it I would send it to the bodyshop to get a few things fixed up, like a brand new paintjob on the fenders because if you look close it's just black primer but I'd send it away to get that done before I give it to the new owner.

What are the payments at now?

compubob 04-Mar-2004 03:55 PM

$245/month

compubob 04-Mar-2004 06:01 PM

up

imported_JohnnyToronto 04-Mar-2004 06:33 PM

So you're looking for $245 a month take over plus 6k?

imported_boostjunkie33 04-Mar-2004 07:28 PM

which works out to $15,320 if you are 1 year into a 4 year finance
deal. for those with math issues $245x36months+$6500=$15,320

yup, close.. I have the reciept that shows 15,500 thats after all taxes and stuff then add about $1000 for the 6k worth of mods I have.. so yah when it comes down to it I'm asking $16,500 I'm loosing out alot.. but my loss your gain!

in all honesty i dont want to ruin your post, so instead take a look at the autotrader. see what the car is selling for. As for mods the general rule is you dont get your money back for mods when u sell a car. You would have better luck parting out some of your mods to make back the money.

If i was interested in the car, i would want a completly stock exterior and interior. My tastes are different then yours so i couldnt see my self paying for your mods.

Best of luck with the sale.

if you read my post, when it comes down to it, I'm loosing out on nearly every single mod, I dont care, I payed 15,500 for the car, I have $6000 in mods, I only want $16500 for the car including the 6k I have in mods, So as you can see I'm only making $1000 back on the $6000 in mods, the seats alone cost more than that!, I know I can part it out but I've just decided on taking the loss..
