*** B16a2 Ecu - Obd1 ***
this is the deal , just bought a b16a2 from a 1999 SiR cdn car, but the ecu has a immobilizer so it will not work !
P28 is the one i need ... OBD1

Hey,
Im pretty sure theres is not way too program that ECU unless you have tons of money too do that. 96-98 Si ECU will not work either as for as I know. Which model civic is it going into? Safe thing too do is too get a OBD I ECU(chipped) with a harness converter(if your car is a 96-00 Civic). Or if you have the extra coin buy a JDM ITR ECU, USDM ITR ECU (pre 99'models without immobilizer) or a OBD II ANGEL(Circuit) ECU. I have a OBD I chipped ECU for sale with couple great programs. $200 firm for it. Let me know, im located in the Markham area. Take care.

well if u knew, i chip ecus. i can also take off the immoblizer possibly, but it will throw a engine check, just like the CND ITR computers, but what i suggest, is OBD2 harness converter, and a p28. which i sell both...see if you asked you would know, since i deal with alot of ppl here, and altec SUCKS....check out www.hyperducktuning.com
