Track racing

I know this might be a stupid question. My friend has a Ford tempo that they don't want because they have just brought a new car. Everything is stock. Is it possible to bring that car on the track just for fun? If so can i go like shannonville and how much is it? I know u need helmet. When is there another track event that i can join too. Hope someone can reply me thanx.

There is one in July 2nd. Hosted by BattleEndless. I am going to that one. 75 bucks prepaid I believe, and helmet is needed as well.

Go to battleendless.com and you will see the anouncement. This is at Shannonville, lapping days, 75 full track all you can run.

I am pretty sure I am going.

True, when no competition is involved, you can only compete against yourself.

But good ways to test out parts and to brush up your skill a little, for that price and 3 hours, you really can't lose.

For sure. You sign the weaver regardless what car you drive. It doesn't matter whether you fvck up a 350Z or a rust bucket, you are responsible for it.

But there are still danger on the track. By beating the **** out of it, I hope you don't mean driving like a maniac. But if you are going to rev it alot, make sure you have method of going back home in case the car dies at the track.

actually without at leat a stop watch your not even competing against yourself you have no way of measuring performance. at some lapping events stop watches are forbidden because they don't want you pushing at 10/10ths

the way I use a lapping day (since they are useful) is as a test and tune I'd have a stop watch and parts I wanted to test and a pryometer for tire temperatures and all that stuff... and then I'd go out and test.
