track days

Is anyone interested in participating in track days in the summer. I am going to be organizing a few. We will be using either the front track at shannonville (Nelson) or the back track(Fabi). It will probably be late afternoon and will run around the sixty dollar mark. It usually costs 250 per hour, and if you have 10-15 cars out, well you do the math. Two or three hours is all you need. If there is any intrest, let me know Thx.

I would be interested if we get enough people. nautica_t would come too and if we set a good date I can probably get like 5-10 other cars in. At cayuga it's $40 for the entire day. Is this place farther than cayuga?Cayuga Schedule Here's the homepage for cayuga

first of all when people say farther than cayuga, from where, shannonville is close to belleville. the track is not quarter mile. The nelson track is smaller with nine or ten corners and the fabi track has thirteen or fourteen. The best thing about the fabi track is the back straightaway, it is around half mile. It is the quarter mile then the shut down, pretty fast. I have never done it in a car but on a bike you get to around 130 mph then hard on the brakes to 60 for corner one.

Would you guys mind if a Cavalier joined you? I am very respectable around others on the track and I have been on both tracks a bunch of times so I wouldn't hold anyone up.

Count me in

I've been dying to test out my car on a closed circuit.

Why not get someone from TCC staff to setup a paypal account for this, where SERIOUS people that wont back out can pay in advance for track days... money talks.

Wow, I didnt realize there was such a demand for this. I am going to be organizing it in the near future with a friend of mine and as soon as we get a few dates I will post them. I dont care if you drive a civic, lude, cav or a damn bus, as long as you have fun!
