regional; event #4 is happening July 6th so for all those that are not going to DKN come on out to woodstock to have fun blasting around the cones.... cost is I believe 25 dollars...(I have been known to be wrong)

the directions to the WOSCA events are in the thread labeled WOSCA summer series event and are really easy to follow...

when and where is the next event.... i'd like to come out and see it in person... my car is to slow to compete right now though

slow?? slow?? I run a stock civic... slow is not a word thats used to discribe a car .... slow is riding your bike... slow is having to walk ... slow is going for a jog ... slow is well slow is maybe driving a pinto ..

however solo 2 is built for stock car competition and the focus is not on horse power but on handling ... and driver ability. I have beaten type R's and RSX type S's all with a stock civic and little knowledge of how to drive it ... you wana upgrade your car change the tires to some R compounds street tires don't last..

ok with the rant down StewPiddass will be at an event July 12th in barrie I won't be there because I'm having my car painted tomorrow... well started tomorrow

i never knew of this stock car.... i thought it was all modded cars and such... thats cool though... maybe if they have some closer ones i'll get in... need a helmet though

they have loaner helmets ... there is no excuse now to have fun

I ussually post an event that I will be at 1 week ahead of time (if I remember)

it is good to get your own helmet eventually ... hey first time out look me up before first runa nd inform me that you wanna try to challenge my signature. you enter the event and I hand you double your entry fee if your fastest time of the day beats my fastest time of the day ... (you also get novice bragging rights)

well the car will be a different color next event so look for car 34 or 14 those are the numbers I try to run.

well you could also look me up at the TCC meets I'm there too ...

ok report on regional number 4..

well started off with a course walk through and being intoduced to the optional box... where you can take 1 of 2 ways though it...

well left looked good for the first time through and right looked great for the second time through....

well I was wrong left both times was better

anyways first run a 40 second time after having to rerun because of a timer error not great but acceptable first run

second run another 40 second run GOD DAMN IT I was suppose to shave 2 seconds off my time like everyone else

third run I nailed 2 cones and ended with 43 seocnds

4th run was clean but still a 40 second time .... damn this day is a right off (and I need 91 points to even stay up in the standings)

ok ***** to the wall time 5th run....

I get into the stop box I figure damn I hit 3 cones (in my head) and even worse a timer error which means I have to run again ... well now I have to make up 6 seconds as well as go fast ... this seems impossible ... get to the start box tell the starter it's a re run I need to know cone count in the first run... informed it was a clean run ... ***** TO the WALL time... slap through the course and enter the stop box .. not my smoothest run and I slam on the brakes into the stop box and nearly take out the end cone (automatic DNF) missed it by 1 inch (exact measurement ) well time shows up 38 seconds and no cones .. I get 91 points and end the day with tons and tons of shouting of joy.....

racing is sweet all over again .....

i think i wanna come out to the next event thats in mississauga... i think ryanhook said it was the 19th... just to watch and see all the fun happenings... i need my car to stay driveable till i'm done school... only another month but its got 280 000kms and somehow still going so i dont wanna chance it.... but anything after mid august i'm in for sure
