Regional Event #3: Wookstock blandford mall
 

what a Day that was . new r compounds are very interesting to drive on. first they understeer one run and with no changes oversteer the next. then understeer then oversteer...

after 3 runs I managed 3rd place after 5th I had dropped to 4th in my class... what was dissappointing is the host club had ringers that only compete in their events and tried to qualify for the shoot out. however instead of shooting for a 95% of the leader's time they took the class win. WOSCA will definiately be an event that becomes a throw away event.

H stock is still close for those going for a series win. the only series competitor to beat me in the class was on Hoosiers that were well broken in while my brand new kumho Escta V700's still need to be scrubbed in a bit before the work to their max. I plan on having them working at their max at the nationals mid July. but I do plan on winning H stock next weekend at the bronte go station on sunday. I was within 4 tenths of a second of the series registered guy that beat me. very easy to make up. and next event the 2 ringers that showed up in my class shouldn't be there. so it's all good . next week no ringers and good tires and an open course.

Yeah, great day overall, I just got home (went for a BBQ afterward) and I'm bushed. I managed 2nd in my class, the class leader had 42.199, I had 42.268 and the guy in 3rd had 42.271, so I only had him by a hair!

I'm looking forward to next weekend too!

well I'm second in class now .... I was 4th before this event .... I still have lots of ground to make up to be on top I have to start winning .... :p
