raced some dude with his dad...
well, going towards HWY 7 on rutherford, myself in the passenger seat and my cousin piloting the B20B hatch, we spot a black droped GSR with an N1 or fireball type myffler hanging sideways with piping ran from between the rear axles stopped at the lights which then go to HWY 7...
needless to say, we pull up beside the GSR at the lights and look over. the driver was a young looking asian dude and had a 40-50 year old asian guy sitting next to him....I'm guessing it was his father. anyways, my cousin says "oh, this guy isn't gonna try anything...he has his dad with him".
we wait for the lights, we get a green and both cars start moving up in 1st and the GSR guns it(and so do we

we hit top of 3rd gear comming up to HWY 7 and had at least 3-4 cars on the GSR...the light was green for us to turn onto HWY 7, made a left with the GSR following, slow down to let him catch up, the GSR gets beside us and is STILL trying to go. B20B starts screaming and he is left behind once more. we slow down again and get the infamous "fly by"
moral of the story: it's bad enough he raced with his father in the car, it's even worse that he lost to a civic "DX"
p.s. the civic broke the driver side axle later that nite while taking a turn and stomping on it....torque is goooood

i hate to admit it...but i think our honda engines need more torque! my cuzin has a 77 corvette (black) its pushing 400to the wheels.....now that has gobs of torque...5.7L but the fuel economy sucks so much!
There was some1 from these boards i think who shot down eglington and my cuzins jus downshifted and nailed it...within seconds we caught up to the like 15car lengths he was ahead of us. i love hondas dont get me wrong...but those american cars know the meaning of torque....they can jus

Honda's have mostly 4 cylinders, Most big GM cars have 8.Take the NEW Type R Civic and make it a V8 (doubling cylinders and HP) and it would kick a Vette's ***. So what's your point?
