My 032R's were ok in the rain last week-end! Which class are you in Jason? I think I'll be in BSS, if you're not we can at least compare times, I don't expect a great position, I know a few of the cars in BSS.

I'll be in B stock for PITL... and yes you won't be in the stock class for pitl with that civic

as for my R's there is lots of tread on them and I should be fine for rain driving I just wish I had hit the bracebridge event so that I could have tested them out....

note to self: bring Tarp to cover stuff and keep stuff dry (even though I expect to be fully soaked)

Stew I'm series registered as car 14 B stock...

well I dunno whats wrong today .... I couldn't push the car like I normally do ....

it waqs a very complicated and technical course, which I loved ..

my Best time was 45 seconds something (I forget the rest)
I placed 12/28 for my class ...which sucked but ohhh well car is still not up to par ...(3.3 degrees of castor in the right front is driving me mad and I don't know how to correct it)

I really want to get out to a TLMC event sometime.

well thats it till the 14th car has to go get painted on monday

I was sooo wet from the rain I didn't even bother to change tires I drove home on R compounds .... and damn they stick in the rain

I got soaked too, my socks were stained from my shoes. I hate having wet feet.

i ran my best was 44 something... right before the rain.

But I never went off course all day, and I only managed to hit 1 pylon all day... i think i was playing it a little safe.

i definately need new tires and to install my kybs for the next AutoX.

It was fun all the same! Can't wait for the next one.

Ryan, don't hesitate to call me again before the next one

Ray....

i was looking at the "wired motorsports" classifications and by those rules it looks we can be categories as C-Modified Class which i think is retarded...

It states:
C - Modified Class
All Hi-Performance cars (as listed above in C-Stock class) with modifications not permitted in Stock class. Also includes any A or B family cars with internal engine and/or boost modifications

curiously...
C - Stock Class are...
All Hi-Performance cars, typically with large engine displacement, all factory forced induction (i.e. Turbocharged/Supercharged cars) 2.0 litres and over in engine displacement (includes FWD, RWD and AWD cars) and (forced induction) rotary engines.

SO we fall into C - Modified

AND ITRs are categoried as B-Stock Class and they would competing in the same class as Jason with his Stock CX

WHO EVER CAME UP WITH THESE RULES/CLASSIFICATIONS WAS A 3 YEAR OLD

Driver is more important then car ...according to the results I beat a RSX type S so hey should that normally happen? probably not ...will it happen again? damn straight

As for your classification (and Ray's) I have issues with it because a 3rd gen civic with a 1st gen integra engine under the hood is running in B mod ....

and the integra type R according to those classifications is in B stock Plus ... which is a different class from me...

speak to the organizers .... post on the soloontario.com forum I'm sure they will be more then happy to explain the decision ... (or fix it)

next race I'm hoping to push my time to a top 10 finish for the day .... I'll be letting it all hang out (also since my car isn't getting painted now till July 7th, I'm going to more events on this weekend (once I figure out whats around))

Don't really know how we clear it up Sam. Seems the series organizers really wanted us in C mod. Doesn't really make sense to me seeing as a Type r is in B and a 3rd gen with a b series is also in B.

I noticed some inconsistancies even with my timimg.

On my first actual timed run - i had a go-karting buddy (sitting in the Timing booth) tell me I ran a 48.... on the results it show a 53... even if I hit 2 cones the times don't add up. For my last run it shows I ran a 96.... I think even if I hit all the cones on the course, I still wouldn't get a 96.......

Oh well sh#T happens I guess. I'm glad I'm not taking this tooo seriously other wise I'd be pulling my hair out.

This year I'm concentrating on learning and having fun.

As for the damn rain, checked my socks and shoes and they were still wet this morning. It rain boots and fully rain gear from now on!

Sam maybe we can talk to the organizer and get a little more clearification on classification. He was the guy that stopped us after your run and asked what engine you are running.

Until the next race

Jason, can you tell me when your next event is as I'm considering getting in some more seat time before the next PITL race.
