honestly speaking, Im not sure if it was a toronto integra or a tcc meet, the last one we went to Burlington for a meet it was the giveaway day. It was a great turnout, but everyone left as soon as soon as the giveaway was done.

Prior to that meet, I have been to 2 meets at which i spent more time traveling to the meet then actually being at a meet. Im not trying insult the west end meet or trying to compare it to a east end meet, but just letting you know WHY people from the east are hesitant of coming to this meet.

PS: How come none of you guys from the west (exception of spike and lots of pink) come down to the toronto meets?

PPS: WHEN ARE WE HAVING A GIVEAWAY! like wtf! if your going to do a giveaway in the west end it only makes sense to do it in toronto to!

Its equality. Simple as that! Toronto Civic Club has giveaways in Burlington, BUT nothing in TORONTO. Also, all the people that RUN this site don't make an appearance @ the TORONTO meets.

I believe that the giveaway was a part of why so many people came. I dont want anyone to take this little rant personally, I'm just letting you know there is room for improvement.

It was to be a TCC meet, but no exclusion from the TI people. There certainly was some great people there and a few extras which could have stayed behind.

But yea, people certainly left or scattered after the giveaway. Mark and I discussed it after. It will be the last time we do a giveaway like that. From now on it will be online unless I can be convinced otherwise.

If I was coming from Pickering to Burlington, that meet specifically (the giveaway) didn't have a super great vibe and certainly, IMO wouldnt be worth travelling from far east unless of course its about hanging with your friends. It by no means was a 'power meet' with 100s of cars where it didnt matter. It was small and certainly segregated. It was also cold that night if I remember correctly.

Ive tried to answer that above. It wasnt about west or east for the giveaway. Frankly, it was about where the staff was going, where I was coming from to get there and the time frame. This is why as of right now there is a giveaway, for everyone regardless of location. I hope we can continue to do more online giveaways. Its easier, more participation and I feel like it helps promote TCC far better than what that small meet did.
After the west end meet, I certainly left there wondering why I convinced vendors to give away products to some (keyword some) of those people. I mean. People getting $100 gift cards and saying "thats it?". Give me a break

Side note. The other times Ive gone to west end meets with my friends was to meet up with others like Spike and or others from farther west.

A lot of people left right after the give away then all of the people that cruised from Toronto and some from there ended up staying behind until Tim Horton decided to kick us out because all are cars were off and we were making too much noise. (Go figure)

From there we moved to a Timmies were some 12 yr old girls decided to flirt with a few of us then we spent a good hour playing kick the bottle. (with a deflated ball.)
