I have no clue but the cost has got to be cost to 100 grand in my mind considering brand new car, safety equipment, tires, wheels, entry fees.... spare parts it adds up quickly...

that wouldn't suprize me... for the go karting series i'm racing in this year, if you want to run the national series its $60000.... the team itself out of hamilton will pay about $54 000 and you have to either pay up the rest yourself or get your own sponcership....
the karts they use in that series go 80-140 mph
mine only go up to 100 mph but when your sitting 2 inches off the ground with no windscreen it seems that much faster
