has anyone here taken part in a king of the hill race that they have every saturday night at MOSPORT? if so what is it like?

Tricky. MOSPORT has fairly grippy pavement, but the end turns are fairly tight making it a real power track for KOTH. I've done it at Barrie and MOSPORT as well as regular appearances at Delaware, and I've won all three at least once. Mosport was by far the hardest TRACK, despite a relative lack of competition the night I was there. But I think that's largely because it differs so much from Delaware that my setup didn't really work. Delaware has faster corners, but fairly slippery pavement, making for a big 'pucker factor' in turn 3 that give a big advantage to experienced drivers and cars with good handling.

BTW I never recommend that anyone run KOTH. You never know when your going to draw some tool that will hit you for fun. I've seen guys try, but fortunately I'm fast enough to stay in front of those kinds of drivers. But even I've been hit once in a straight race where neither of us were willing to lift.

On nice thing about MOSPORT is that there's prize money every night. Certainly helped with the hotel room that weekend.
