**Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be able to get off of work but for those that wanted detailing. PM me and I'll provide info for a quick/easy way to get the wet shine look...really good for the indoor shows.

Again, I am really really sorry for this inconvenience.

Sorry for being unclear, those who needed access should have contacted me. I assume everyone has made their own arrangements unless requested otherwise.

So, let's have it then...

Time: 2:45pm

Place: Sherway Gardens (QEW & 427)

Brings your FRS's so we know where everyone is and laggers can catch up to make sure we all end up showing together.

I won't be showing but, I will be there to lend a hand for those with detailing issues and whatever other issues that may occur.

Let's create a list of people who will be going to Sherway Gardens. Remember people for those coming from the far west and east ends, this will be the beginning of rush hour traffic so, please set a time early enough to get through traffic and get to Sherway for the designated time.

And if anyone from the east end wants to cruise up to Sherway with me, let me know below beside your name and I'll PM you a meet place for us to hook up if you're fuzzy about getting to Sherway Gardens.

We will be meeting at the Toys R US parking lot closest to the bridge and hwy 2:45pm...

2. Nova (coming from Major Mac/Dufferin area)
3. RDub99
4. Tuttigirl
5. Whiplash-possibly
6.
7.
8.

Dont forget your cloths like Buddah mentioned, windex/glass cleaner, tire shine, any build pictures of your car, quik detailer, anything you can think of to clean your car

and Charles, I would clean your engine bay, they will make you pop your hood to look, you'll get points deducted for a dirty bay, if you can even clean where they will see that should be good enough

Remember too to bring tools to disconnect your batteries!

From the mouth of a friend who is on the Board of Directors of the Roger's Centre...
"Batteries should be disconnected Friday night as it is a fire hazzard to have them connected according to the fire departments regulations in having a car show at the dome."

Yes Madam, I will clean it. Power wash it Thursday night and add some tire shine on Friday, it will make the rubbers shine, right?

Never dressed up my engine bay before.

Holy shat, I took that statement literally.

People need to stop referring to their cars as baby.

I will be bringing some limited cleaning supplies for you guys to use but, I do insist that you also bring some of your own. A few key items to bring are 2-3 micro-fibre cloths (because if you drop one, it shouldn't be used again on the body...instead it's become an interior cloth now until the next time you wash it), quick detailer, wax, wax applicator, speed detailer, interior dressing (if you like your dash to be shiney, if not, a spray bottle with a solution of 1 drop of your favorite dish washing soap to 100 ml water), tire shine, a terry cloth to clean rims (do not use micro-fibre cause it would be a waste unless it's a painted or power-coated surface and is entirely clean), glass cleaner, and a roll of disposable shop towels cause you can never have enough of those. For those really picky people like me, an appolstry brush, small vacuum, detail brush, and a clay bar.

I will be bringing some of these things items. If any one needs a vacuum, let me know now and I'll bring my mini shop vac.

Meguiars was at all the previous Importfest shows and hopefully, they'll be there again. If anyone needs advice to purchase products from them, please feel free to ask. I know I'll be getting some supplies aswell for myself.

See ya'll Friday if not sooner.

Cheers,
Buddah.

I washed my engine bay last night and got most of the dirt off, it just needs some shine and whatnot to finish it off.

I bought an interior cleaner and rim cleaner last night. I will bring whatever I have and some fabric (shirt sleeves, like a crap load of them) for general cleaning purposes.

When we spray tire cleaners on engine parts, any precautions? Parts I need to avoid?
