Wow . I'm really impressed now Mr. coupe," POWERSHIFT but don'
throw it in gear that hard".Do you really have a car man, you did say that your car is coming out on April 1 . But seriously , I think
Im going to pass on that one .I just can't afford a new tranny
right now , if I miss a gear @ 7500rpm.

Yah meaning I don't slam it into gear as hard as I can. I shift smoothly but still fast. Yes I do have a car alot of people on this board have seen it LOL but right now I'm driving my winter beater.

Let me try to break this down for you yet again.

If I throw it into second gear HARD I'm gonna jerk the car causeing it to chirp

Now if I shift fast yet smooth then no wheel spin YAY look at that.

Now if you want to know exactly how I do it I rev match. Do you know what that is?? Well I clutch, take it out of gear push the gas to match the speed clutch again and put it in gear and no wheel spin

Look if you don't understand what I'm saying don't get personal cause you only make yourself look like an immature kid that can't think of anything witty to say and resorts to name calling LOL.

Just ask what I meant by it and leave it at that.

Like I said before your asing questions and I'm answering if you want to get personal then the offer still stands to Private message me or meet me in person. Keep it off the board

WOW! Now you make me wonder if you ever powershifted before.
Do you have any clue what it takes to power shift bro!!!Let me stop myself from laughing... So what your trying to say is that at
full throttle don't kick the clutch in but" smoothly feather the clutch".Let me stop myself from laughing AGAIN.How long do you want me to hold the clutch in, while I "softly throw it in gear ",
maybe 2 sec. what do you think the rpm would be at that time.
HAHAHAHA!!!aiight! Admit it you don't have car & you never
power shifted before . LOL

Yes yes your right I don't have a car...Good one

Fine since you don't understand what I'm saying I'll edit the last post and make it easier for you to understand. is that better??
probably not but not my problem.

Admit it you don't have a brain. Here's a question for you when you launch do you just rev and drop the clutch and smash the gas??

Hopefully not otherwise your 1320 times are gonna be alot worse then I thought.

Anyways like I said I've already proven my point and I'm done with you. You can reply to this but you'll hear nothing from me. I'll take it to PM's since you want to continue with the personal ****.

coupe95 what kinda times do you get at the track using your special shifting method?

true chirping the tires may slow you down, but your method of shifting slows you down much more

Not if done properly rogue. Go ask actual drag racers how they shift. I'll bet you $100 they rev match. Ask some old school muscle car drivers how they shift. My pops used that method when he used to drag and he ran 11's in a Ford Falcon.

It may not be how everyone does it and yah if you can regular power shift without screaching your tires then that's cool but fact is that your still dropping in the RPM's when you shift gears, true? If you do it the way I'm telling you and it's done properly your RPM's never go down. Think about it from a logical standpoint

Aiight my 1/4 mile times are as follows I've only run my car once at St. Thomas:

First is the car :1995 Civic coupe Si, 2nd gen B16a with brullen catback exhaust and intake, Skunk2 re-chipped ECU, SKunk2 coilovers, KYB AGX shocks. Now the bad part. I don't change up my car for the track so it was running with a full bodykit consisting of a Skyline R33 front bumper,Blackwidow sideskirts and black widow back bumper and 17" BSA rims on Khumo Ecsta 712's which add quite a bit of weight but oh well I ran a 15.4 tho my time isn't really relevant as I had a nasty leak in my exhaust. But still definatly not bad for the mods I have with the extra weight.

Since then I've installed 2001 Type R cams(intake and exhaust) 2001 Type R valve springs and Retainers and Apex-i VAFC. I will be having Skunk2 cam gears installed soon. With tuning I'm hoping to break 14's we'll see this summer tho when she get's on the road.

I'm lost on this one

What’s chirping your tires?

Is that when you rev the car in neutral and switch it into drive?

ive been drag racing for four years and ive never seen anyone shift the way you do. chirping the tires on each shift doesnt slow you down that much, i chirp every gear except 5th, and i still get good times at the track.

That's cool man...but you do see what I'm sayign though right? As in not dropping in RPM's and having to build them back up again?? You just rev match and your Rpm's never drop. Either way it's all good people have there own methods.

Holla ! Coupe 95 waaz up maaan chirp!... chirp! LOL

Do you think you' ll still pass our very strict emissions law
wit all those mods. especially that ECu , knawmean. If you
do pass though, give me a holla dawg cause I'll be very
interested in how you did it knawmean. I've got a stock motor
wit a high flow cat , headers and I have a bad feelin that I wn't
pass emissions man. Anybody out there with the same mods and passed , post pls. This whole emission thang is whats holdin me up from further mods . Why? aaiight this is what happened ya'll When I had the stock motor I had everythang Coupe 95 had and
I couldn't pass the emission , everybody detuned and it still didn't
pass ya'll so I gave up and jus .... knawmean, and soon it was back on the road knawmean. So guess the question is brothers is that how far can we go with the mods and still pass emissios
knawmean. Feed back pls Ya'll

PAYCE!

Rogue is correct anyone can pass with knowing the right people.

In my case my mechanic let me borrow a stock P28 ECU and then played with the timing and it was fine. The re-chipped ECU's especially the Skunk2 and Mugen programs make you run really rich which in turn will cause you to fail so you just have to change that.

Don't worry QRTRMLR I have 2 friends with H22's in there accords with quite a few mods and they passed so I'm sure you will.
