H22a Swap

H22a Swap
Just to let the people who's considering an h22a swap
know that under normal driving ,it doesn't feel any different
than driving a stock motor. Don't expect a neck snapping
accelaration . What I could tell you though is that if you stand on it, thats when you get a BIG BIG smile on your face. Its worth
the money considering your car could out perform cars costing
$25-35 G's. I just had a racing clutch put in my daily car , this
clutch is the most awsome clutch for all motors from my experience. It shifted gears like I've never experienced before.
It brings a smile on my face every time I shift hard, now I can
shift with confidence . It barks the tires in second & third gear.

chirping tires
chirping the tires is simply a sign that
the clutch is able to tranfer ALL
the torque to the ground . At the track
with the right tires that could be eliminated.
But on the street you want to be able to hear
that chirp because its a sign that your clutch isn't
robbing you of all that power.

a clutch that chirps the tires is lunging the car forward
a chirpless shift is simply sluggish , bad for preformance.
WE NEED MORE FEED BACK FELLOW RACERS.
WE NEED MORE OPINIONS PLEASE.

How bout this for an opinion:
1) A chirp on the street is for showing off which is gay in my opinion but to each their own I guess
2) There are alot better ways to tell if your clutch is good or slipping then chirping your tires
3)YES you do go slower when you chirp your tires(don't think you were arguing this point but just wanted to make it clear )
4) Happy is totally right your tires may be shitty and that's the only reason your chirping.
Hope that helps

hi coupe 95 , I 'm really sensing that you can't chirp your tires at al
maybe you should stop granny shifting or maybe your afraid
that you might grind your gears @ 7500 rpm .Try shifting FASTER.
The shifts plays a big part on how a car performs , if you know what I'm saying.Sure tires are important ,but at the same token the way your car shifts is equally important.

Aiight see now your getting personal. Actually you little smartass wannabe streetracer I can chirp my tires in shifting into second and even into third(not much but it's there) but I'm not a little poser that tries to show off. I wouldn't be talking **** on here cause honestly you sound like a little kid that's biting off more than he can chew when you start to make personal remarks toward me. I actually shift at 8400 with my new mods I just installed.
You want to get personal aiight let's do it. You come on this board and act like you know what your talking about when really you jack ****. Your probably an 18 year old kid that thinks they know everything. Now like I said I never said I knew everything actually far from it but still obviously alot more than you.
Stop being a keyboard warrior and talking crap and learn before you make a post and have the post be informative and I wouldn't have to correct you.
I guess you get mad when your proven wrong, well not my problem..If you did want to continue this discussion in private message or in person I'd be happy to but please keep the personal attacks off the board.

Are you talking to me BB1? Yet another kid who wants to talk **** on the board. You got something to say PM me.
About your 20,000rpm comment if that's directed towards me shifting at 8400rpm let me break it down for you I have a 2nd gen B16a with intake, exhaust, skunk2 re-chipped ECU, 2001 Type r cams(intake and exhaust), 2001 type r valve spring and retainers, and Apex-i VAFC. Now if you know anything about perfomance then you would know that this allows me to shift at 8400 rpm if you don't know this then I suggest you read up before making a stupid post like you just did making yourself look like a moron. DAYAM what's up with these people LOL.
Oh by the way not that it's any relevance but I'm 24 years old BB1
Got anything else to say PM me

ummmmm did you read my post 3 posts ago???
I said I can chirp my tires going into 2nd and 3rd gear but I choose not to as it slows me down. However if you really need to see it to believe it when my car comes out of storage in April I will give you a viewing.

It's called rev-matching. I powershift but don't throw it in to gear that hard cause that would cause me to break loose. Watch real drag racers race, with all that Horsepower & torque they still manage to not lose traction shifting from first into second and so on.
