ok not friends friend. i have this one friend that talks soo much **** about honda and Vw's. he always puts down imports and brags about his dodge dakota sport V6 like hes got the fastest ride ever! well lets give a 
to honda engineers. lastnight he lined me up and i handed his *** to him! damn right that shut him up and now hes all ashamed.

Sweet story, I guess we should never underestimate those little Civics. Actually, that reminds me that I got my rear handed to me by a CRX on my way home from the meet on Wednesday. I would have mentioned the club to him if I caught up

hahah good one!
i got a friend who's sort of the same. keeps bragging about his brand new Golf GTI 1.8T. he used to be into honda's/acura's but ever since he's got the golf he has done nothing but bash japanese cars! i really want to run him to show him what my car can do but he just got a new intake so i'm pretty sure i cant beat him...
well he's new to stick so maybe i have a chance just based on driving experience

If you say he is new to the stick, more advantage for you.
I had two different races with new VR6's, one guy handed it to me by bout 1/2 - 3/4 of a car, the other one I smoked (he missed a gear or something, oh well still fair game)
And correct me if I am wrong, but aren't T's diesel or you have a
choice between gas and diesel.
I'll run him if you want, set it up. (as long as the intake is the only thing he has and we are not on the highway)

and the guy at the shop with 5.9 V8 told me his
car is a 15.7 stock. Hey guess what our SiR's are
anywhere between 15.2-15.7 stock (based on
peoples posts, and according to a couple of
reputable websites.) So the next time a dakota
pulls up to you slap his fat, heavy, gas-guzzling bulky ***.
No disrespect to dom owners,

Lada's are so cheap in price. You can buy a 1998 Lada for like less than $3000 hehe.

I've ran older vr6's (not sure think 96-98) and new T's as well and really had no problems. As for 1.8T I don't know why you don't give him a run for it. You guys should be pretty even.

I dont know if there's a choice between diesel or not but my friend's 1.8T runs on unleaded gas. Yeah i really want to run him sometime. I drove his car before and it does have way more torque but i think it'll be a fairly close race. He'll ruin me on the highway though.
