Decible. It's a Sound competition for stereo's. You basically line up like in drag racing and you blast your stereo for a certain amount of time and try to beat the other person in having the higher db registered.

how are the amateur competitions going to be setup? Obviously after the db drag but will there be enough for a competition? I might show up depending on my work schedule for the amateur competition, I just got a new setup I'd like to try out.

the amateur comp scores will be taken from the DB Drag event scores for those who qualify and enter the Amateur class's. So you enter the db drag, and the amateur event, you'll get 2 qualifiers and atleast 1 bracketed seat, and you get your highest score of the 3 runs as your score in the amateur challenge.

YAY! Finally an event close to where I live and not 3 hours drive away!!! lol.

I should be there. Hit 130db when my current system was in my cavalier, don't know what it'll do in the civic. Gotta fix one of my rear 6x9's tho, I think it's blown.

Well it wasn't one of my 6x9's that was blown.

Was setting up my system this afternoon and the sub kicked the bucket. The coil ripped right off the cone. Blew the 'audiobahn' center cap right off the sub, it's an ugly sight. The sub was 5 years old and couldn't take anymore I guess.

I'll still show up tomorrow, just won't be competing..............poo!

PS, anyone have a 12" sub that will handle 1400watts that I could borrow?...lol.
