Exclamation BF Goodrich Presents the JRP Nationals this Sunday at TMP 56k no way

This Sunday at Toronto Motorsports Park, BF Goodrich Tires presents the JRP Nationals.

Paul Bwahan is on a streak this year. After fighting for years to break the 160 mph barrier, Team Splitfire/JRP have finally exclised this mark. With passes over 160 and a high of 163 MPH, this sunday will prove to be hotter than ever, hopefully with an 8 second pass in there as well.

Finally Ready? with high hopes that Serge Lisboa would come out to the last event, many people were dissappointed to not see the bright yellow hatchback. It had become apparent that there were some last minute issues that needed to be resolved. With those concerns taken care of we're being told that the car will make an appearance this time. Hopefully with the new alcohol system in the car and making great power this car will also lay down some great numbers.

Maxwell Racing/Turbosmart has had an amazing year laying down the law around the world with a 10.22@139 MPH on a SOHC "D" series Turbo. They have had a few Intake manifold and intercooler bugs, but I am being assured that these are all taken care of now, and the car is ready to rock. Hopefully this sunday we may see the worlds first SOHC 9 second pass.

Tom Chrisomeris is working hard on a low 9 second pass from the SEM Golf VR6. With the guys at SEM working at a feverish pace to get all of their cars ready they are proving to be a world leader in the VW set.

Pro Stock is HOTTT this year

Altech Performance has a fairly decent lead this year in the ALL MOTOR class and has been making some really good horsepower numbers. This car, once it;s dialed in could prove to be one of the fastest ALL MOTOR cars in Canada if not the fastest.

Not wanting to be left behind, and making a hard late season charge, is Bruno Gabriel in the Team Autothority ALL MOTOR CRX. After posting a new NCRA record at the last event, it appears that this car is now working extremely well, and might give Altech a serious run for the championship

Not to be counted out at all is the Vibrant/ETD ALL MOTOR entry. Proving to be quicker and quicker at each event this year, with a driver change partway throught he season things are getting worked out and are definately heating up for Vibrant and ETD

Also still working the bugs out of his pro stock entry is Steve Sousa, last years points champion, he debuted a new "chop top" civic earlier this year, and has been trying to get the car to go down the track as well as it did last year. there have been some problems along the way, but they say that most of the bugs are gone now, and the car is ready to run in the top 3 again

Marc Kulak has been having oil pump problems this year in his Mazda Miata, yet has still managed a few personal bests this year. He has been posting lower and lower ET's with less horespower, and contributes all of it to suspension tuning.

J.P Dias has been a late entry into the field this year, but is coming on with a vengance, Marco and Tom from SEM have proven that once again the VW can hang in the Pro Street Class with the big Dogs

So come be your best with the best. Home of Canada's fastest Sport Sompact Drag cars. Keep up to date with the NCRA official website at www.ncraspeed.com
