how much does a helmet cost normally?
I'm looking into buying one so I can try that Solo2 :wink:

I was told helmets can range from 150 dollars to 1500 dollars ...

my helmet was on special at cycle world for 229.95 +tax ... and damn it's comfortable ...

the sales dude said I could sleep in the helmet and I didn't belive him but at work today I had it on and damn I was comfortable ... and yes I even fell asleep at work with the helmet on you yeah the dude was right my only issue is my breathing fogs up the visor with it fully down (fully down it makes such a good seal I'm surprised it didn't come from hte space program) there are vents in my helmet and not sure how well they work since I haven't had the helmet on while going fast..... but hey it's a great helmet ..

I know Jooksingkid and ryanhook were looking at an open face helmet (I don't like those personally) but in the end they will probably be more comfortable with an open face helmet.

I have an open face, I sweat way too much otherwise... and you will NEVER get a picture of me in it, with the size of my huge melon I look like the great Gazoo!
