well, its kinda similar to yours marty, difficult to explain... i will be running 2 12"s, 1 amp and a cap
rear=closest to rear bumper
front=back seat area
im looking at a full fiberglass trunk area with the 2 subs pointing up and towards the middle and the amp in the center in the rear of the trunk on an angle with the cap underneath it...

first thing to do Brad is create the bottom piece..
frame the trunk first (the limits of where the box will exist)..
figure out how much space you'll need for the subs, do a few calculations and that'll tell you how tall the frame will have to be
use mdf to create the frame..
pull frame from trunk and line trunk with foil or vaseline (so the glass will seperate from the metal)
glass dual layer..
let dry and remove new enclosure..check for leaks and glass where appropriate
when ya get that far lemme know

only issue is you gotta make sure the frame isnt too wide to remove from the trunk. If you just plan on using the spare tire well then its pretty simple to frame out the area and then glass it up, when you start getting into the corners etc you gotta start building more and move pieces so you can install and remove everything unless you wanna build it and never take it out again:P.

it all depends on what kind of sub he is using and what volume that sub will need to run at spec.
for example my subs are inverted and each subs has its own ported enclosure of 2.05 cubic feet. now that is built to spec from the manufacture of the sub. most new subs u buy will come with a spec sheet and will give a bunch of numbers, just pm those to chris and he has a program that can give u mesurments. but the best way i have seen to get the volume is fill it with water, ask marty because that is what selective sound did with mine.
