Any Auto X'ers?

Hey Guyz & Galz,

Any of you enjoy doing Auto Cross? If so I wouldint mind organizing the club coming up to Barrie for the auto X there in the Molson Centers huge parking lot. Subaru club has an amazing turn out there, so does Fiero and Audi.

Would be nice to get some more Honda boyz and galz out there on the track. Good times. I'll get back with more info when the first runs are going to be, probably in May sometime.

*yawn* why go so far away ... thats like going to woodstock for a WOSCA event TLMC runs a good show up there....

I'm uncertain whether they have the lot this year or not ... rumour is thats becoming a subdivision?

personally I'll be hitting some super secert events this year in downtown toronto before the May 24.....

as per my standard I'll be posting each month where I'll be and start times and entry fee price if I know it .... I'm thinking of running my beginners challenge again... I'm still undefeated in it.

I ran in over 26 events this past summer including CNAC in red deer alberta....

this coming season I'm hoping for 40 events including the Canadian western autocross championship and the canadian national autocross championship in montreal...

AutoX'ing ain't just racing it's a lifestyle.....

Yes I will be attending all of the TLMC events in Barrie this summer, actually I am on the TLMC executive and will be co-director for slaloms this year. I will also be the contact for the CASC-OR Regional event we are trying to plan for this summer.

We already have the Molson Center Parking lot booked for all of our events this summer, no problems there, looks like the price will be going down too, I think it'll be $20 per event but don't quote me on that yet.

I hear WOSCA may be losing their lot though... i hope not, the events there are great!

I'm aiming to do more events this year too Jason, think I did about 20 this season.

Any tolerance for Newbies in these events or can you point me in the right direction for some newb's? Me friend and I want to try AutoX this summer. And when i kill his times he'll see why he needs a civic instead of a probe!
