I'd say the Talon's got the GSR licked. AWD will definitely help off the line and then of course, we all know Honda engines are a bit weak in the torque department. But hey, I very well could be wrong.

anyway, what is the 1/4 mile on the no mod 90 talon tsi??

It would be AWD so that mean less traction loss decreasing wheelspin which is very important in drag racing. Talon all the way DSM!

ummm....
the 90-94 talons tsi are FWD not AWD....the 95 and up tsi's are AWD. wasnt he talking about the 1990 talons?
The older looking model talon tsi's are the fastest 90-92/94 ...not the 95 ones....

Talon TSi's come in both FWD and AWD... and no, it's not dependent on the generation. The first generation did have the AWD, just ask my friends with them... so did the second generation, ask my friend with one. And they both came with just FWD, but none of my friends would be stupid enough to get a FWD DSM.

depends on what that 200 hp is..is that 200 hp with a low sppoling boost at about 2000rpm or 200 hp at 7000rpm.
i mean NA vs turbo with matching numbers i'll take tha na any day of the week but if thats usally an issue of displacment.
in this race i would say it's pretty much up to the mods on the cars and if we were talking stock i would say you are trying to put valve timing ginst boost and fwd aginst awd....that's just silly
talon would OWN
but if your headers and intake and all giv eyou a bit of help it would be a worth while race....but he'll still win if you are equal drivers....all i can say is give it a shot takumi!
