93 dx hb vs 4dr 99 dx

The point is, bench racing is just that..... all hypothetical.
If you want to find out, look up some car and driver specs for each vehicle, and compare the two.. there's your answer. But then you realize that car and driver's numbers may be a tenth off from road and tracks numbers, which are also maybe a tenth or so off from oem's numbers... and factors come into play which affect these numbers such as temperature, tire pressures, elevation... etc... AND driver.
So in conclusion, if you disregard all those factors and want to know WHAT will win (as opposed to WHO) when you're bench racing ,then its very simple... the vehicle with the greater horsepower to weight ratio.....
... and then there's gear ratios.... LOL.... but forget i just said that

well if they are both dx's so they have the same gears... and the same motor... i believe... they wouldn't have changed that much anyways.... so then it would just come down the weight... which the hatchback would win...
try comparing a 5.0L mustang... and an h22 powered civic... that would be one discussion there
