13.93@100 Mph

I went to Cayuaga today for my first time and walked away REALLY happy. BEST run was 13.93. If I had one more chance, I know I could get 13.8 , it wasnt far off. I had another @ 13.9, some runs @ 14.5 and one even @15.5 lol. It was cold today (3-4 degrees C)so traction was the key. I ran mostly single time trials, but raced 4 cars and beat them all 1/4 mile. I lined up with an CRV Integra, Civic coupe, Cavalier and DIRTY Mustang. Favorite race: The Mustang. It had monster tires and sounded like a FREIGHT TRAIN, I was intimated but ran the high 13 pass and he ran 14 FLAT. WOO-hoo!

I absolutely love racing. Its amazing.

YES IT IS! He pulled up, and man we PULLED! lol

We raced twice. I had no idea and this fukin teg pulled hard, I was like HUH WTF is in this thing? He thought the same, I was pulling hard with him and I actually came short twice. One race I was 13.9 and he was 14.1, but he won cause I had **** reaction time. We lined up again, and I blew it hard off the line, the clutch slipped too much hit the wrong time and ran 14.6, he did 13.8!!!!! WTF!!!!
Nice guy we talked and ****.

We will run again and I will run my 13.8
MMUHAHAHAHAHAlol

long time no post

sunday was freezing at cayuga! tracktion was a major issue...especially if you're making decent power.

my best run this past sunday was the 13.8 @ 101.55mph against 1sicsol....best run ever for my car though is 13.56 @ 104.08mph with a 2.09 60 foot. it seems as though the more power I get the slower the times get...mostly due to spinning 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd gear ....I really need to get some BIG slicks

1sicsol: your car is quick bro, our first run against each other surprised me cause you where keeping up pretty good. you got a 2.1 60 foot on that run, that's very good. I had a 2.2 60 foot on my 13.8 run...gotta work on the launch

did you try running your car without the NOS engaged to see what you ran all motor?....mine's always ALL MOTOR

I actually ran first run without juice but never got a good time. I was the second car on the track and the tires were cold and spinning like crazy. First run, first time, I didnt even know how the lights worked!

Much respect to your 13.5 and 13.8 too.

Now I ran with full interor, and a seriously heavy glass box and subwoffer behing the seat. Spare tire in the back too.
I really need to get some BIG slicks
I was running drag radials at 14 psi on a stock clutch.....no hold man!!!!

Hey do you have a performance clutch?

reaction time means ABSOLUTELY nothing... you could sit at the light for 5 minutes, then cut a 2.1 60' time and run a 14 second pass. The time starts when you cross the beam.
