Will This Work?

I have a 38mm Tial Style External wastegate and I will be getting the car tuned next year. I'm only running 6ish PSI now, would like to be at 10 PSI.

My question is:

Will any 38mm spring work or is it specific to make, model, etc.

I know that I need a Large Yellow spring from Tial to get the 10.15 PSI. Can I just order that or will it not work?

Thanks for the help.

It should work. Here are 2 questions, is the wastegate you got ebay? If so just dump it and buy the real one.
Also what are you doing driving around untuned? Lol

It is a EM USA brand. I dorve home for install and then to storage untuned. First thing I do next year is new clutch, bigger fuel pump and injectors. Then it's off to Zeeman for a tune and then have fun all summer long.

or you could just get a boost controller and turn it up.

I was always under the assumption that you need springs from a specific manufacturer, but i've never tried tial springs in a turbosmart wastegate before (or vice versa).

I'm bought the AEM TruBoost Gauge. Lightning Motorsports - Made with Bits of Real Lightning, so you know it's good ! AEM-ARP-Competition-Skunk2-Walbro-more - Homepage
I haven't used it yet, but at Offical AEM Air Induction Systems and Performance Electronics Site - Home Page has videos on it. I picked the TruBoost because I have a AEM EMS computer, and they communicate with eachother.

go with an EBC like the others said. its a great advantage to be able to run low boost lvls most of the time and crank it up only when you need it.
but dont go with a tru boost they are an epic fail had 1 for a while and hated it i bought an apexi avc-r and love it
