Im getting a B20b next month and its going to be put in my EJ1 next spring (winter project). Im thinking about boosting it....like 8-10 p.s.i. I know that the cylinder walls are weak on the B20's. Anyone had any success with this? What turbo size would be best?

ya, you definately want a turbo on the smaller side (NOT a GT35R). Something more like a GT28 or a smaller t3/t4 variant

$1000 for a cheap setup to $3000 for a very nice set-up

cheap setups aren't worth $200 IMO.

haha mine lasted about a year, mainly ebay stuff. but then i smartened up and am going to build myself into debt and im loving everyminute of it. gt30 is in, i pick it up tommorow

get a smaller turbo,, mine was a turbonetics T3, .48 ar.. With the stage 2 wheel and ceramic ball bearing. I was running 10 psi,, and beat on it everyday. I sold all my stuff and soon selling the car,, cuz of money issues from university.

The car was pretty darn quick, never burnt any oil,, my compression is still 200 across. They can handle alot "with" a good tune, **** tune and ur motor will not last 2 weeks. Dont cut any corneers or buy cheap ****.. Just my turbo was 1g. Your gonna love the tq man
