rebuild internals?

Hey Im building a 93 coupe, and it already has a b18b in it. I have a 14b talon turbo im going to throw on it. My question is 1st - is it a good idea to do some internal work? and if so what would you suggest. 2nd - what can this motor handle stock? im thinking around 10psi?

Thanks for any advice

There is no need for internal work on that little turbo. You can push upwards of 300whp on stock b18b's. However, I wouldn't really recommend this for daily use, but for a few passes on the dyno it should be able to withstand 300whp.

If you are looking to really crank up the boost, I would look into a more efficient turbo for those levels and at the BARE minimum some ARP head studs.

Oh and of course, zeeman for tuning. That'll make it reliable.
