New Vitara Build N/A sputtering and breaking up ..

I just got my vitara build and I am running NA

have a big problem tho...

The car runs fine when its cold, when the car warms up it starts to "sputter" really bad... it will do this for a bit and then it gets really bad the car will stall out.. This happens under most between 1500 and 3kish... RPM

any ideas???

its fully rebuilt bottom end, vitara and h beam rods... low comp..
stock fuel pump, stock injectors, chipped ECU with ECtune...
Distributor looks good, its fairly new..

If I'm not mistaken those pistons make a d16bottom in the 7-?-? Comp, run hotter plugs and play with timing sounds like the motor is flouding out! I bet it a pain to start up like the starter is bad or battery is dead..

Try running the d16 head from the obd2 cars that bumps the comp into the higher 7-?-? (I can never remomber d-series stuff, y8 z6?)

Use d16 pistons out the flip up light integras!! Like d-series type R comp! Or the twin cam ZC motor ( I think it's d16 a1,a6, or a8) I know one of those is an si crx code
