Need some sort of metal mesh screen for temporary use on the cost side of the turbo.

where can i look for such a mesh and what am I asking for when i speak to customer service?

Is this sort of mesh universal?

I figured i could use a metal screen door mesh, but what type of clamp should I used to hold the mesh in place against the force of the turbo, to avoid the mesh from flying right off..

The metal mesh is temporary.

I have a space issue where my intake pipe routes out from the turbo cold side...

I need a really small filter, but large enough to fit on a 2.5" diameter pipe

Try the short mushroom style filters. They may fit on your application.

Personally I would not trust it with just some screening on their. I don't know how other people drive around with them like that. They're just asking for dust and crap to go in there and sand-blast the compressor blades...
