So im piecing together a turbo kit. i got a 14b turbo of a talon, and now im wondering would a talon downpipe work for me? since i do not know how high/low turbo will sit and will the downpipe be able to go under the motor. or will it sag to low? anybody seen this done before?

You will have to make a custom one. Wait until you have everything pieced together and make one. I have the exact turbo on my car.

I believe it would have to be custom fit. i've seen them fit right under the oil pans pretty sure.

where did you guys find your turbos around here?
was it a junkyard special or friends?
looking to build a turbo set up soon and i want to go with a 14b

check some DSM sites. I am going to swap my old eclipse turbo in my civic. 14B or T25 are pretty easy to find cause everyone upgrades and goes bigger.

I got mine for 200 with manifold. Turbo seems good.

I had the same turbo on my civic, and i had the stock pipe that bolts to the turbo, but i have a custom down pipe that goes under the oil pan.

So I guess the talon downpipe doesn't clear through the oil pan. Damn oki than thx

You can use the stock 02 housing but it is more effecitive to make a dp right off the turbo using a mistu flange. I did a custom 14b setup 2 seasons ago and rerouted the wastegate 8-10" into the dp to reduce turbulence at the exducer. The setup never had an issue with stablizing boost. I might have pictures for you if i can find them on this computer.
