What kind of oil for a 97si vtech in a 93civic
i was just wordering what kind of oil i should use for my swaped motor i have a 93 civic bubble back with a 97 si vtech motor ...ive been useing 10w30...SHOULD I GO Synthetic?????????????

5w30/10w30 dino oil is fine

Not to sound like a dick but it's VTEC. Vtech makes phones. 5W 30 is fine. Try a search on here there was a thread about synthetic oils not to long ago, it should help you out.

some 75w90 would do the trick.
hahaha

Regular 5w30 should be good enough.

5W30, get decent dino stuff, Castrol, Shell, Valvoline. I get whatever decent is on sale for my daily driver.

for the summer time i'd use a 10w30 oil. I like castrol personally..

and i always liked hastings oil filters.
