Weird heat problem* need advice plz

Good morning TCC i was just wondering if you can help me out with a problem.

It first happened today i noticed my temp gauge just before i got on the highway it was abit above normal, but as soon as i got on the 401, it dropped to normal instantly, then it was fine till i hit traffic and had to stop started rising. So what i did was turned my heat on max into the cabin to try to get it out of the engine bay, but no heat came out only cold air. I even was trying changing it from max hot to max cold, and for a while it seemed when it was on cold, the temp gauge would heat up faster then when it was on hot then all of a sudden hot air started coming out and it was fine it seemed till i stopped at a red light, then it stopped again and only cold air came out again

I think its my head gasket but not certian though it can be a fan relay or even my thermostat just got stuck open but do you guys have any suggestions? thanks for the help

we talking rad is full or reservoir is full? if both, then remove and test operation of thermostat (or just replace).

open rad cap and run engine and if u see bubbles comin up from the rad your head gasket is the problem. if no bubbles start by changing thermo-stat.
