So i recently purchased 99 integra of which the owner told me the timing belt was done @ 100km, currently the car has 150km, I have seen a bad timing belt before and it was cracked and whitish..? How does this one look?

looks good to me, but you have to see the ribbed part as well. But with that in mind, a belt can look perfectly good and have micro cracks in it and it explodes anyways. If theres no proof of it being done, and your worried, throw a new one on.

^^ agreed. take it off (providing you know what your doing) and carefully bend the belt a bit and inspect the ribbed side

a lot of the time when a belt needs to be replaced it shows no signs of wear or any indication that it needs to be replaced.

Bending belts actually ruin the internal cords and cause pre-mature wear. I do not recommend bending the timing belt to check it.

There is no real way to test timing belts, typically an experienced mechanic can look at it and see if it's 'old' or not.. but besides that, there's not much you can do.

I'd replace it.
