Hello, Ive got a 96' ek with a stock y8. This morning i tryed to start, and it turned over then quit. I then tryed again and it just sounds like the starter is spinning or somthing, im not entirly sure. the car is makeing the normal tone that it does when its turning over right before it starts, except its constant intsead of the two or three pulse's before acutal ignition takes place.

Wanting to know if anyone has had this problem or if anyone can diagnos it for me!

could be a number of things, starter, alternator, battery. Get an AVR test done, its only like 30 bucks at a dealership

just got it back, the dealership told me it was low compression all around. 20-34 psi on all 4 cylinders!

wow...20-40 psi across all cylinders?
time to source out another motor my friend

This is very very hard to believe. For every cylinder to fail something has to be going on. Either the cam timing is way off or the gauge they used was faulty or they did the test improper. It'd personally get a 2nd opinion. I've never seen all 4 cylinders fail at the same time.

Was this your daily driver? did you notice any smoke or missing prior to this?
