Starting/ignition problem.
hi, im not sure if this is the right place to post, but hey there it goes.
i have a problem, my 93 civic LX with ZC swap sometimes does not start. for example few days back after work [after 12h shift] it would not start. its cranking, getting power and everything but it just wont start. so i figured ill come back next day and see whats wrong. so next day i try starting and it starts like butter. i got home. turned motor off then on and its all good. also sometimes when ive been driving for a long time and i stop and turn motor off, it tends not to start so i just wait for 2-5mins and it starts normaly. anybody have an idea what could it be? is it not getting spark or fuel?

hmm wires and sparkplugs are fairly new also ditributor cap is fairly new also. so its not the spark. fuel is a question. but i changed the fuel pump roughly 15.000km ago. but my guess is that sometimes it doesnt work properly. so then another question, is there a fuel pump relay that could be not woring properly?

ya the fuel pump is controlled by the main relay. do you hear the pump prime when you turn the key to ACC?

Sounds a lot like the main relay. I was having similar starting issues, so I pulled out the relay, opened it up, re-flowed all the solder joints, reinstalled and not a problem since. That was over a year ago.
